Defy Gravity

Christmas 2021 - 

After our kids had finished opening their gifts Christmas morning, my husband Chris handed me a series of small gift boxes. The first contained a silver bracelet with a few charms from the Broadway play “Wicked”. The words “Defy Gravity” were etched into one of those charms. Powerful words. I cried as I realized the full extent of Chris’s gifts for me. He had arranged a music website, social media accounts, recording studio, videographer, and most importantly two highly trained and talented pianists who could help give my music wings. I was overcome with emotion. A dream that had been mine since childhood was about to come true. It was crazy to think that this 40-yr-old mom was about to defy her own gravity and chase some of her dreams.
