Beginnings

Fall 2021 -

I was lucky enough to be involved in a singing competition titled “Brickman’s Big Break”. For a handful of weeks, I had the opportunity of interacting personally with the super talented pianist Jim Brickman, his amazingly fun team, and my incredible fellow finalists from all over the United States. I will always cherish those inspiring musicians and the opportunity that brought us together. I mean THE Jim Brickman was calling me by my childhood nickname, “Cosi”!?!?!! 

I did not win the competition that October. Was I disappointed? Yes. However, the process gave me the drive to do something different with my music. But how?? How could a busy mom of six ever find time to do anything other than laundry, dishes, and taxi driving?? Regardless, I longed to use my talent for good. 

This past year has been full of many amazing experiences for me. I am so excited to share my musical journey with you!
